About me

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Margarida has grown up within a artistic household.
With a Diploma in Design and Multimedia from EPI / ETIC, she received in 1998 the Award
for the Creative Youngsters by the portuguese Briefing Journal with her campaign Keep.

Postgraduated in Digital Marketing, she also has studies in exhibition design,
film and animation.

In 1998 started her professional career in MDI - Multimédia Design & Imagem Lda as an intern which led to 14 years as Senior and Designer Creative. She worked with international clients such as Johnson&Johnson, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Novo Nordisk, Siemens, among others.

As a Freelancer since 2000, she has designed and executed several Design and Multimedia projects for the public and private sector such as Maternity Hospital Alfredo da Costa, Joaquim Correia Museum, Communications Museum, The Arts and Crafts Institute, Autonoma University of Lisbon, among others.

She also worked in marketing and communication, exhibition design, interior design projects, signage and toponymy in companies such as ACRE Group, OneKey Projects and SOAPRO.

More recently, she worked as Events Management for WLP, working for CNN Portugal, TVI channel, DGS, among others.

Equally passionate about cinema, she was assistant professor for animated cinema, and in 2012 directed and produced her first short film "Vultos". She has produced the feature film "Keep me company" which screened in the portuguese cinemas during 2020, and most recently she produced the documentary series "Everything seems perfect". She produced "The girl from saturn", and some independent animated short films where stands out "Small lights in fairy land" and "The little match seller".
She is currently in pre-production of the feature film "The dead queen's words".
